Celebrate National Kite Month and the arrival of spring with Kitty Hawk Kites at one of the most iconic spots in the OBX! Head to Jockey’s Ridge State Park on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th to witness an incredible display of massive kites—ranging from 30 to 100 feet—soaring over the tallest sand dunes on the East Coast.

This free, family-friendly event begins at 10:00 AM each day and is the perfect chance to enjoy the warm spring weather, snap some epic photos, and take in the colorful skies. Bring your friends, bring a blanket, and soak up the joy of spring in the Outer Banks!
